McFly & Co began with a simple idea: that looking after a good instrument should be as satisfying as playing one.

There is something timeless about the ritual of guitar care. Strings off. A bare fretboard cleaned and conditioned. The finish polished. Fresh strings fitted and ready to play. It is a small part of owning an instrument, but one that keeps you connected to it.

We wanted to make products that belonged in that ritual — thoughtfully made, beautifully presented and a pleasure to keep on the workbench.

Our approach draws inspiration from traditional workshops and apothecaries, where useful things were made well, packaged simply and kept close at hand. We favour carefully considered ingredients, understated design and products that do exactly what they are supposed to do.
